Meet The Team

Matthew is the Managing Director of Apex. He has a wealth of experience in the Financial Services industry, and takes great pride in the long-term relationships he creates with clients, and the ethos within Apex. Matthew had an enjoyable sporting career, playing Football to International Schoolboy level & Cricket to Minor Counties level. He has continued that passion and now supports a number of local & regional clubs in a sponsorship capacity – trying to use the business as a force for good in the community.  

Doug has been working in the financial services sector for the entirety of his career, working both in Audit as a Chartered Accountant, and in Wealth management as a financial adviser. He has a passion for building long lasting relationships with his clients and helping them achieve their long-term goals through understanding their needs and providing a holistic approach to financial planning.

Hannah is a non-advising co-Director, and Company Secretary of Apex. She is the glue that sticks everything together! Married to Matthew in 2019, they had their first child, Morgan, in May 2021. Outside of work, Hannah is a keen cook and likes to spend time with family on staycations – or vacations!

Rob & Matthew have worked closely together for a number of years, even in the days before Matthew started Apex. He is a Chartered Financial Planner himself, and is an integral part of the business. His expertise contributes heavily to the quality of advice Apex advisers produce.

Dave joined us in late 2019 and has extensive experience in marketing communications across the broad spectrum of marketing. Helping us achieve a better presence online dave is a valuable member of the team. In his spare time he likes to play badminton and also has a penchant for collecting historical artefacts.
